    Pigmentation is a bit of a buzzword at the moment, but how many of you actually know all that much about it? Like, what causes it (other than the sun of course); why it sometimes seems more noticeable than other times; why some women get it during pregnancy and others don’t; and how on earth you get rid of it??

    I’m only just starting to wrap my head around it all and I work in the beauty industry! So if you’re keen to find out more about the causes and cures of dark spots and pigmentation then mark 6.30pm on Tuesday 18th September in your diary because we’re having a dedicated live forum chat on that very topic – hoorah!

    Bronwyn Fraser, National Education Manager for L’Oreal Consumer Products Division with over 20 years experience in the beauty industry, will be online for an hour to chat to you about your dark spot and pigmentation concerns, as well as answer any questions you might have about the new Garnier Dark Spot Corrector. She’ll also have some great tips and advice on how to best protect your skin to minimise the chance of dark spots occurring down the line.

    I have a new sunspot this summer and wondering if Retinol will help if I just put it on the spot?

    I hate pigmentation on my face. Garnier dark spot corrector might be a blessing for me.

    I hate my pigmentation....it's my worst feature I think and I try anything to diminish the look of the spots. But there's been no miracle cure yet.

    D'oh! Missed out. Do you apply it before or after broad spectrum moisturizer. I was too lazy in my 20s & early 30s to look after my Irish /German skin & am now covered in freckles.

    I have sooo many acne scars! It's horrible plus a few dark spots which I don;t mind.

    ugh, i definitely have an issue with pigmentation and weird red blotches on the lower part of my cheeks and it's not rosecea?!

    I prefer IPL photo rejuvination. My pigmentation was all gone in about 3 days. I have to keep up the sun protection - every day!

    I think I may have THE worst pigmentation and dark spots. My nephew actually asked me what was wrong with my face, and why was it all different colours.

    I've developed a few small, but faint, dark spots on my cheekbones and it's really difficult to make them disappear!

    Really looking forward to this discussion. Thankfully I only have one small, barely noticable spot that I want to get rid of but I'm interested in how to prevent them more than anything. Btw, is acne scarring the same as dark spots, or is that treated in a completely different way? That is the question I want an answer to.

    I won a tube of this corrector and i have to say that i am seeing some diminishing in the darkness of some of my spots and i am so greatful that i got to try this so more time will tell
