Should you be #MultiMasking?

Haven’t heard of ‘multi-masking’ yet? Prepare to have your mind blown because this is one skin care trick we can’t believe we never thought of before! #MultiMasking is going off on the Internet right now – and for very good reason.
Multi-masking is when you apply various face masks for different skin concerns to different areas of your face. Now, there are two reasons why it makes total sense: 1) different areas of your skin have different needs, so using one mask to targets one skin concern often just doesn’t cut it, and 2) it means you can combat three skin issues in one go, saving yourself precious time in the process. Praise the skin care gods!
*Right now, I’m having a moment like this*:
So, how do I multi-mask?
I’m so glad you asked! It’s this simple – once you know what your skin concerns are, such as an oily t-zone, dry cheeks and an acne-prone chin (hot tip: having your skin Face Mapped by a Dermalogica Expert is a great way to identify and understand your skin), get your hands on a face mask that targets each of these concerns. Then, once a week, apply each of the masks to the different areas of your skin and let them work their magic (while you indulge in some red liquorice and Kardashians re-runs, of course).
*Now I’m doing this*:
Genius.
Got an oily t-zone? Try these: Paula’s Choice Skin Balancing Oil-Absorbing Mask, Lush Love Lettuce Fresh Face Mask
Got sensitive skin? Try these: philosophy keep the peace, Bioderma Sensibo Mask
Got dehydrated cheeks? Try these: Ella Bache Hydra Mask, Ultraceuticals Ultra Replenishing Mask
Got acne-prone areas? Try these: Quick Fix Anti Blemish Mud Mask, SkinB5 Natural Acne Treatment Skin Purifying Mask
Got fine lines and wrinkles? Try these: Mirenesse Wrinkle Freeze Collagen Event Mask, BABOR High Skin Refiner Lifting Extra Firming Foam Mask
Still need a little convincing that this is The Best Skin Care Trick Ever? Let these Insta pics inspire you...

I should multi mask. I have dry skin, but have breakouts occasionally. It's a bit hard though when I usually use sheet masks though.

I recently read an article in VOGUE about multi-masking the latest on trend beauty tip that we should all be incorporating into our beauty regime. I’ve been doing it for over 21 years. If you combine a rehydrating and radiance mask before a night out your skin will look amazing.

The cloth ones look interesting , but the others are so messy . I used a peel off one a long while ago and still found it messy when peeled .

Multimasking does make sense but I like to use those cloth face masks.

Condiering all the masks...clay, sheet, eye, hydrating...I have I should be doing this. I find it hard enough to remember to do one mask not sure I'd remember to do more

I use many types of mask during the week for my mature skin care needs. Orogold 24K deep peel, Aztec clay, pumpkin mask, mud anti aging peptide, 24k gold mask with platinum, seaweed mask and a black mask only apply these during the day. Also, under eye mask for dark circles and puffiness. Every night I apply a sleep in mask; Dr. Pharm collagen, skin food 24k gold and caviar mask and snake venom mask. Now I really understand the statement "Beauty is hard work" I am noticing improvements on my face within three weeks.

I think this would only be worth doing if you had combination skin. My skin is the same all over my face.

It makes sense, but is there any chance of a weird chemical reaction occurring between these difference masks? And wow, the effort and time required might just not be worth it for me personally!

I use multiple masks one after the other. Not sure if at the same time works for me. I do love the idea of targeting certain areas with different products, such as serums. Brilliant Dermalogica :-)

Women have multitasking in their DNA, so it should be to hard once we have the right products.
