Madonna's surprising skin care selfie

Madonna’s got a new skin care range and she’s not afraid to put it out there.
The singer took to Instagram today to spruik MDNA, posting a rather startling picture of her mud-masked face.

Captioning the ultra-close-up, “Trying out the new Clay Mask from MDNA skin care line! Lets see if it works,” she followed it up with an oddly angled after-shot, featuring a bizarre flowery hat.

While we can’t deny the shots showed an amazing after-glow, we don’t know if the singer’s social media approach is going to be a great marketing success.
Would you try Madonna’s new skin care range? What other celebrity beauty products have you tried?

I've never tried a mud mask.

She does have good skin but I doubt it is only because of a new skin product, there would be so much more she has done that we don't hear about. I never use products endorsed or branded by celebrities, they may be famous but it does not make them skin or health experts.

I wouldn't try her range just because of a few pictures. And i dont take into account celebrity marketing when choosing a product (i could be put off from brands endorsing certain people though)

Whatever she's doing, it's working, although I suspect it's a lot more than masks!

Whilst I don't 'follow' Madonna (or anyone, really), I think kudos to her for posting something different.

I think her great skin is from years of caring for herself, and not just a magic new range of skincare just released

that is so cool! Madonna is a legend. But I never touch anything branded by any celeb. That is like having me [fitness professional] launching new make-up range. I'm hopeless with makeup, have to always be helped.

I probably wouldn't try celebrity skin care range unless it was backed/produced by a trusted company

Lovely skin, but can we deduce that her lovely skin is a result of this affordable skincare??????

WOAH where are all her wrinkles and lines? I'm 23 and I have more lines than her!

What how what what is that bulge? I only trust bloggers and YouTubers who have bought the product themselves haha.

Her skin looks great in the photo, but how Photoshopped is it??

I'd weigh the product up, just as I would any other, by looking at the ingredients. If I thought it looked good I'd try it, if not I'd pass.

it's also quite obviously she's used the "beauty filter" on her phone in the "after" shot that automatically makes everyone look amazing..

I'm not on Instagram, so I didn't know about photo filters. They're impressive!

Her skin has aged really well. It she has the money to spend on more than just a mud mask.

Her skin looks amazing, but if doubt it's purely from the mud mask!!
