5 ways to save your skin after Easter

Do you love Easter? Do you take the extra days off as your chance to really indulge in all of the things you love most - like chocolate, lollies and wine?
If you answered yes, don’t beat yourself up! We all have our vices and as long as everything is consumed in moderation, it’s not all that bad. However, if by the end of the long weekend, your skin is feeling the effects of Easter fun and frivolity, there are five surefire things you can do to have it back in tip top shape again…
#1: a powerful peel
If your skin is feeling dry and a little scaly, a peel is the perfect way to shed those dead skin cells and reveal new, more-youthful looking skin. Organi Honey Facial Peel features a non-abrasive formula that gently removes dead skin and impurities from your complexion without a ‘scratching’ feeling. The addition of Manuka honey works wonders on acne-prone skin and lotus flower extract helps to extract and repair damaged skin cells.
#2: a purifying face mask
Skin that feels clogged and porous is never going to look the way you want it to look. What you want after a big weekend is a chance to rid your skin of the dirt and grime that’s making it feel clogged. KORA Organics Clay Purifying Mask works to detox, purify and refine the texture of your skin, while leaving it feeling clean, smooth and refreshed. The addition of natural clay, noni extract and lavender will help to balance sebum excretion and draw out impurities.
#3: a nourishing skin hit
After a weekend full of non-stop action, it pays to give something back to your skin. A nourishing face oil is the perfect way to replenish lost moisture due to the consumption of alcohol, partying hard, or being a little haphazard with your skincare routine. Aromatherapy Associates Nourishing Face Oil is the perfect choice, as it is packed with vital nutrients including evening primrose oil to replenish essential fatty acids and encourage cellular renewal.
#4: an energising hit for your peepers
If your eyes are revealing just how much fun you had over the long weekend, it’s time to silence them with a fast-working product that will reduce puffiness and erase the look of dark circles with ease. MAC Fast Response Eye Cream is a caffeinated cream that does just that, while also firming, soothing, and softening the delicate skin around your eyes.
#5: dehydrated lip fix
Chapped lips are never a good look and they’re an especially bad feeling if you’re also putting up with the pinch of a hefty hangover. Deal with dry lips swiftly by choosing a super-nourishing lip balm, packed with ingredients like vitamin E, shea butter and aloe. We love Carmex® Moisture Plus Ultra Hydrating Lip Balm in Sheer Pink, as the soft pink hue injects life into your lips while moisturising them thoroughly.

It's way past Easter, but it occurred to me last night that my skin was looking a bit congested. Time to do a face mask tonight, methinks!

I love exfoliation and face masks. Can you buy Organi online? The people who sell at those pop up kiosks tell shocking lies to get sales, such as if you dont buy today i cant give you this 10% discount as it is for today only. Walk past tomorrow and its the same again, and they tell you this time after time even though they know you

I never use face masks as a part of my regular routine, although I really should. I've done a few when visiting my sister. We tricked my boyfriend into participating too last time and he loved his (a peel off mask)!

I treat my skin by applying a moisturising mask. I haven't done it in a while though as my skin isn't as dry as it used to be but that might change as winter is coming up and I love having the heater on.

I do a little olive oil in my moisturiser before bed. I do cucumber under eye slices. I do a steam. I do an exfoliation, skin mask with serum underneath followed by moisturiser with a massage into the skin.
