The fragrance notes that last the longest

Bugbear alert!
Do you tend to find that your fragrance has faded just 10 minutes after applying it to your skin? It’s annoying isn’t it? Especially when you take the time to apply it so lovingly each morning.
What if there was a way you could determine which scents would be the longest lasting before you bought them? Well, you can! You just need to get clued up on what to look for in a scent…
Go for musk or woody scents
Scents with a musk or woody base will generally last longer than other fragrances as the oils tend to evaporate at a slower rate than those with a fruity or floral base, meaning they’re noticeable for longer.
Choose the right strength
How long your perfume sticks around has a lot to do with which kind of fragrance you buy. Generally, the less the concentration of essential oils in a scent, the faster it will fade away.
Parfums contain the largest volume of essential oils, which means they take the longest to evaporate and therefore hang around for the longer. Eau de parfums are next in line for lingering time, followed by eau de toilette. Eau de cologne contains the least amount of long-lasting essential oils and will therefore not last as long on the skin.

It's good that we all agree to disagree on fragrances. We all have individual tastes, personally I love musk fragrance but I know it's not to everyone's like.

I am a sucker for Rose scent. I usually don't have a problem of perfume not staying, rather, I found them overpowering

There is one classic perfume (EDP) That I got 1995,( yes I am bit 'older' lol) for my 19th. It was my first ever perfume: Este Lauder Spellbound EDP, in 100ml. (guess what, I still have half of the bottle! And it is same as when got it more than 20 years ago!!!)
Spicy, fruity AND tiny hint of sweet. Man, this one does not go away for a week! I wash my clothes, and can still feel the scent! Insane, and never found any EDP that will do this

Ah perfume, my addiction! ^_^ The most potent and longest-lasting perfume I have EVER encountered in my life is Alien by Thierry Mugler (same designer of the popular Angel fragrances). One spray of this and you will be smelling it all night, the next morning and all over your room! One of my favourites but be warned, it's a truly unique, one of those 'love or hate' perfumes. For me it's pure love. It's an Oriental-Woody, with white amber, woodsy notes, and Indian jasmine in the top. If you love Jasmine then this is a Jasmine-bomb. Sample first before buying! xo

omg, so true Scarlet! I was using both of Angel and Alien (got this one as I am scifi fan since birth hehe) when in 20s. They are so so strong and last for ages! Even scent would linger after I wash my clothes (as because of allergy to chemical smells I have to put it on fabric, no way on the skin)
