So he's 13 and it's his birthday – help!
I’m no expert on teenage boys (not now with two teenage sisters, and not back then when I was a teenager myself, trying to discover whether he loved me or loved me not) but I am aware that boys around the 10-15 year-old mark are often the hardest to buy for – and we recognise that you need help!
Buying for a son, brother or nephew is one thing (hey, an i-Pad/Pod/Phone is sure to be a hit these days!) – but what about when you find yourself having to buy a present for a boy in your child’s class? They’re too old for toy cars and bug catchers, sea monkeys have long gone out of fashion, and they’re not yet at that wondrous grown-up stage when a six-pack of beer will be all the present they need.
So, what are my ideas for a present for a boy in that age bracket? We’ve got you covered…
Playboy London – Odds are when little lads hit around the 12 or 13 mark, they’ve started thinking a little bit about girls. These scents are great as they’re subtle, won’t cost the earth, and will make him smell great to boot!
TIGI BED HEAD Mohawk Gel – Well one thing’s for sure, the arrival of this product into his hot little hands may just see you become his new favourite person. His mother? Maybe not so much…
Converse Chuck Taylor High Tops – I have it on good authority that boys aged 10-17 are loving these right now.The new ‘skate shoe’ is hot on every young man’s hit list– so give a gift he’ll really love.
