Swap shop: mundane makeup - page 4

Ever peeked inside your make-up bag and thought, dare I say it, boring? With a capital B! Don’t worry, it happens to us all at some point. That’s where bh’s swap shop comes in. We’ve tracked down the ultimate modern twists on classic make-up staples to keep your beauty bag fresh, fun and fierce. Let the bartering begin…

Make-up staple: L’Oreal Paris Blush Delice
Swap shop: Benefit Posie Tint
If you’re over the total dolly look and looking for a subtle pinched-cheeks effect instead, give Benefit Posie Tint a whirl. Like nail polish for the face – it isn’t as weird as it sounds, honest – this sweet-smelling tint will leave a sheer trace of shimmering pale pink blush on your cheeks. If you’re in a hurry, a quick dab on the lips works wonders too.

Both of these products look beautiful, great shades for those cheeks. Posie Tint is feminine and pretty.

A nail-polish-like product for the cheeks and lips, interesting.

I find powder blush the most convenient. I'm not sure how I'd do with a liquid.

haven't tried posietint yet, but if the formulation is like benefit's 'moonbeam' product, it should work well over any kind of foundation. the colour looks like it might be too light/bright for those with darker skin - has anyone tried it?

both very pretty pinks. I'm a little hesistant to try a liquid/creme blush over foundation.

I adore colours and pink is so my favourite at the moment as your lips are naturally pink anyway so get a gloss to match your lips and it gives it that oomph and moisture of course. My bedroom was revamped a couple of years ago in pink too but anyway off subject but the pink got me all giddy. I definately need a lighter shade of pink for my cheeks as that colour as gorgeous as it is I couldn't pull it off with my pale skin.

Has anyone actually tried the posy tint? I have lots of different blushes (lol) though so it would have to get a really good review for me to try it!
