Get a born-with-it-blush

Try applying pressed powder blush with an oh-so-slightly damp brush. With a similar effect to cream (only minus the messy fingers and slide factor), this gives your apples a natural, translucent colour, as though the blush is radiating from within your skin. It's even prettier than the real thing.
What's your best trick for faking a natural flush?

my fav is Pinking of you a revlon blush, combines a few blush colours works great with bronzer mixed in

So pretty and natural. If you're on the GO just pinch your cheeks literally. Don't dig your fingernails in just give them a little squeeze.

I only use a small amount of colour on the apples of my cheeks and BLEND! bronzer is also fab for a healthy glow!

I use benefit Georgia, its a light peach. So it highlights the cheeks without looking to rosey. I love it.

I like powder blush. The key to blusher is to blend and blend wisely, it should not look fake.

No matter what I try, my blush never seems to go on right, making it look overloaded. I've even had a professional show it to me and got myself to do it on her and it looked good, But I can never do it right on myself :(

This looks like a great idea! I am always wary with blush because i hate that caked on, bright red look, hopefully this will be subtle but pretty :)

I tried this with my loose mineral powder blush and it worked a charm, I had a really nice golden peach colour and I ended up with a beautiful flush of colour absolutely wonderful :)

I might give it a go - I'm just a little scared it might give a result that is too intense. Perhaps I'll try it on the weekend, rather than on a workday.

Interesting idea! Have never tried wetting the brush slightly, will give it a go next time! I've always been too afraid to try the mousse blushes, perhaps it's time I did?

the purpose of blush is open up the face and highlight the cheekbones so it meshes well with foundation or bronzer
