    If you’re after a foolproof style for day or night, you just can’t go past a braid.

    It’s super versatile: you can go for chic and polished or boho and textured, making it the go-to style for any occasion.

    To nail your braid, you need hair with movement, volume and texture, and that means finding a product that can deliver those things with ease.

    For this look we used Batiste Dry Shampoo XXL, as it’s designed to revitalise greasy, lifeless hair and create volume and extra body between washes.

    I am in co ordinated and can't do a plait...and having a hubby, son and dog in the house doesn't help lol

    Same problem as misfortune8, though, braids always get messy on me. :( gotta ruthlessly french braid to keep it in place.

    Ah so clever to make it look boho! Love this! I also noticed a type of Batiste I haven't heard of before and now I want to try some of that XXL Batiste. Looks great!

    I like the step stretching the braid to create a 'boho' look. I prefer a messy over a neat one.

    This looks so easy. I haven't been a fan of the braid for many years but it's starting to grow on me. I might try this one day.

    I like braids, my hair is very thick though, so it's easier to style if I have straightened it first, then I can braid it.

    I can do them on my daughter's hair, no problems. It kills my arms doing it on my hair though.

    I love braids. Oddly, I can only ever braid on my own hair. I've never been able to do it on anyone else!
