When you open the lid, you are greeted with the heavenly aroma of a luxuriously thick cream that is easy to apply. The thick consistency which makes it easier for the mask, to stay on my hair for a few minutes until I wash it off. A little bit of the product goes a long way, so there is no need to plod a lot of the mask on your hair, to get good coverage.
Since having my dark hair coloured blonde my hair has been rather dry and frizzy, so this mask has been a god send as it hydrates my hair, making it feel smoother and silkier without weighing it down.
I love this product and would recommend it to anyone that has dry or frizzy hair and in need of hydration.

I have quite long hair (up to my lowest rib) and is a medium thickness. I love my hair, so using good products always makes the difference. Ogx Extra Strength Hydrate & Repair Argan Oil of Morocco Hydrate Mask is a beautiful magical product to use!!! I used the Oxy shampoo and conditioner first, then I put some Ogx Extra Strength Hydrate & Repair Argan Oil of Morocco Hydrate Mask into my hair leaving it in for a good 5-10 mins just so my hair could really absorb all the goodness. The mask is extra creamy and nice and thick, so I found I could really work it into my hair. And it really smells great!. When I massaged the Ogx Extra Strength Hydrate & Repair Argan Oil of Morocco Hydrate Mask into my hair I really concentrated on the mid to ends of my hair as thats where I feel my hair needs the most moisture and repair.

Once I rinsed the product from my hair I instantly felt my hair to be so silky smooth and just so good! my hair obviously loves this product. Even to brush my hair felt less tangled and much easier to manage. I let my hair semi dry naturally then dried it and then used the ghd to style it. My hair was super smooth and looked so healthy and lush! I usually wash my hair twice a week and I now have been using Ogx Extra Strength Hydrate & Repair Argan Oil of Morocco Hydrate Mask every time after shampoo and conditioner. My hair really is much healthier and more lush.

The OGX Extra Strength Hydrate & Repair Argan Oil of Morocco Hydrate Hair Mask (that’s a mouthful!) comes packaged in a tub container with a screw top lid. I like the design because it’s very easy to get the desired amount of product out of the container and see how much I have left to use. The mask smells delicious. I can’t quite put my finger on what it smells like – there’s a light fruitiness and sweetness to it which is just lovely and calming.

The mask has a thick, creamy consistency and is a pale-yellow colour. After shampooing my hair, I apply a generous amount of the mask onto my palms and begin working the product into the mid lengths and ends of my hair. I really make an effort to make sure all my hair is coated evenly with the mask to get the best results, and I comb my fingers through my hair to also help with this. The product directions say to leave the mask on for 3-5 minutes. I trialled the mask on a number of occasions and my preference was to leave the mask on for up to 10 minutes if I had the time to. I found leaving the product in for longer gave me better results which was great.

Once the mask has done its job, I simply rinse my hair (preferably under cold water) and instantly, my hair feels softer and smoother – there’s no knots whatsoever! The mask rinses out easily without leaving any residue. After using the mask a few times, I really noticed an improvement in the condition of my hair. It definitely felt smoother and softer, it was more manageable, and it looked healthier and less dry. I colour my hair, so any mask that can help give my hair a much-needed hydration boost is a winner for me. The mask never left my hair feeling weighed down or oily. It helped make my wavy (and sometimes unruly!) hair easier to style. A great, affordable hair mask.

The OGX Extra Strength Argan Oil of Morocco hair mask comes in a 168g bright blue tub with a bronze screw-on lid. The hair mask is marketed to hyrate and repair "dry, damaged, brittle tresses" and "lock in moisture" to give "hair silky perfection."

The hair mask is a rich opaque buttercream yellow with a medium floral scent. As per instructions, I take a small amount of the hair mask and apply it with my fingers to freshly shampooed hair, wait 3-5 minutes and rinse the hair mask off in cold water.

Once my hair is air dried, I find that my hair feels conditioned but lacks body and lustre. I feel it acts like a regular hair conditioner rather than the extra strength hair mask its marketed as. The fragrance doesn't linger in the hair much long after hair dries. I've found some really good hair masks from affordable brands, but this unfortunately, didn't deliver on it's promise.

It's been a long time since I used a hair mask - I did Shave for a Cure two years ago, and my hair is only now at shoulder length. This product trial came at just the right time, as the hot weather finally starts to cool down and I know the dry days are ahead of me.

My hair: fine, curly, oily roots, virgin hair that rarely gets exposed to hot tools. My usual conditioner is whatever is in the shower at the time, currently something by Matrix that's long discontinued.

I used this mask in place of my usual conditioner twice a week for the duration of the trial. My hair was already in pretty good condition, but it's definitely benefited from the intentional drenching with extra hydration. I found that a grape-sized amount was just right for the lengths of my mop, and I avoided putting it on the roots, since I tend to get so oily. I'd leave it on while I washed my body and scrubbed my face, then wash off. My curls are ever so slightly weighed down if I use too much, but careful application sorts that out. I can see folks with very dry or damaged hair needing more repair than this can offer, but it was great for me.

The packaging looks good and isn't too big, but I really don't like pots with screw-top lids for anything designed to be used in the shower. It smells delightful and my kids loved it.

I couldn't wait to trial this hair mask as I have very fine, curly hair which tends to always feel very straw-like if I don't use enough products that are moisturising on a regular basis.
This hair mask was easy enough to scoop the required amount out of the tub with my fingers and then apply and massage into my hair. I like to apply it after shampooing and then leave it in while I wash the rest of my body and cleanse my face so that it gets a good amount of time to sink in and work it's magic before I rinse it out.
I liked the subtle scent it gave off as it wasn't too overpowering and once it was rinsed out my hair did feel a bit softer than before and was definitely easier to comb my fingers through without feeling too many tangles as I normally would. Being that my hair is curly I never actually comb or brush it after washing, instead I comb my fingers through and then let it naturally air dry while gently scrunching it and this whole process did feel a bit easier and left me with a bit less frizz than normal after using this mask.
I also liked the way it didn't seem to weight my hair down and make it seem more lanky afterwards which can happen alot with products like this when used on my fine hair.
Overall, I would definitely purchase this mask again.

I must have used a million different products on my hair by now to try and keep it in good condition. My hair is long, thick and prone to frizz and fly-aways. Over the years I have found a lot of products to work really well and also a lot that just don't do much at all. I am really happy to say this product is one of those good ones and really affordable as well.

I have not used any products from OGX before and after this experience I am keen on trying out some of their other hair products. This hair mask smells beautifully fragrant, quite strongly so which I actually do like when it comes to hair products, as I think it's nice when you have nice smelling hair and people actually notice and give you compliments on it!

My hair is high-lighted so the ends are on the dryer side and since using this mask quite a number of times now my hair is definitely a LOT softer and smoother. I have been applying this to my hair in the shower after washing it and leaving it in for a good 5 minutes while I shave and wash the rest of my body. It's easy to rinse out and makes your hair feel instantly smooth when wet.

This would definitely be a product I can see myself purchasing when needed. Ticks all the basic boxes for me. It works and it's affordable. Too easy!

Product comes in a small 168grm screw tub and nowhere on the container could I find where it is made. It is very thick product and smells lovely. I have used the standard version of this Extra Strength Argan Oil and loved it so thought I'd have a similarly good experience with this one.

For the record my hair is normal at the roots and quite dry towards the ends and I usually use a 2-step mask system (protein and moisture in layers with heat) to combat the dryness. I found this Extra Strength product was a little to heavy for my hair and I found it quite difficult to rinse it out cleanly and my hair felt heavier, limp and difficult to style.

I know the other version worked well for my hair and think maybe my hair just isn't dry or damaged enough to justify the "Extra" version.

The only other suggestion I'd make is for brands to switch from screw top tubes to tubes because I find tubs really difficult to use when I have product on my hands.
