Four of the best dry scalp treatments

If you suffer from a dry scalp then I don’t have to tell you why it’s incredibly annoying. You know all about it - the itchiness, the irritation, the discomfort, and even the flakiness.
It’s not only frustrating, it can be downright painful. And if you haven’t found a solution that’s actually working to reduce the dryness and irritations, then it’s high time you did. And here are some dry scalp products that can get you on your way to recovery.
1. Moroccanoil Dry Scalp Treatment: Specially developed to help balance the scalp, the oil works to improve circulation and restore the skin, whilst reducing flakiness, relieving irritation and revitalizing the hair. The formula of Argan, lavender and geranium oils work hard to deeply soothe the scalp and reduce dryness, irritation and discomfort.
2. Head & Shoulders Dry Scalp Care Shampoo and Conditioner: This dynamic duo leaves your hair feeling silky smooth and soft, and helps protect and maintain your scalp’s natural moisture balance, too. Used together, the shampoo and conditioner will help get rid of dandruff while soothing and nourishing your dry scalp. Oh, and you’ll notice less itching, too.
3. De Lorenzo Tricho Scalp Balance Toner: Used as part of the De Lorenzo Tricho Scalp regimen, the toner helps to stimulate circulation in the scalp to help relieve the symptoms of dandruff, itching, flaking, redness, and scaling. And the best bit? The Tricho range comes in products for fine-to-oily hair and scalps, normal-to-dry hair and scalps, sensitive scalps, and irritated skin and scalps, so you’re bound to find a scalp solution that’s perfect for you.
4. MooGoo Scalp Cream, from $13.95, moogoo.com.au: Formulated for all kinds of skin that’s prone to dryness, redness, and itchiness, this cream will help heal your skin and get it back to tip-top shape. And not only can you use it anywhere on your body, it’s safe and gentle enough to use on babies, too.

The Moo Goo scalp cream is very soothing! I apply it to the areas that are irritated on my scalp and then leave it in overnight then wash out the next day. I also use the scalp treatment on my hands as can be used anywhere on the body, very soothing... I found that their shampoo was also very soothing for an itchy scalp.

I have more of a build-up problem then actual dry scalp.....because I sweat heaps, I always get a layer of hair product etc that builds up on my scalp....but it does look the same way as a dry scalp if it starts lifting. I have to wash as often as possible to remove it.
