Dry Scalp Care Conditioner Reviews

Thanks to BH for letting me trial this product... I'm now a convert!

I've experimented with various dry scalp and dandruff care ranges in the past, due to my sensitive scalp, and I have to say this is by far my favourite. Even in comparison to other Head & Shoulders products, the Dry Scalp Care 3ActionFormula wins!

The product itself is easy to apply, very comfortable to dispense from the packaging, although it does take a little work to lather. After rinsing, my hair feels clean, light, and nourished; my scalp is always calm and instantly hydrated. With this product I am able to extend the time between washes, knowing that my hair will still feel fresh and clean. My scalp is responding better to workouts and to hot days since using this product, not being instantly irritated!

My hair never feels weighed down with this product, which is such a big benefit, as I've found many dandruff/scalp based products can be quite heavy. I will definitely be repurchasing this set, and recommend it to anyone with a dry or sensitive scalp!

I suffer with a dry and irritated scalp, so I find it hard to just use any contitioner without then getting a dry scalp. And lets face it, most scalp caring conditioners dont smell great... Well!!! Dry Scalp Care 3ActionFormula Conditioner actually smells great! Its a subtle smell with hints of the almond oil and is oh so pleasant! And when I use it I instantly feel my hair being nourished as well as my scalp, it feels like I've been using a quality salon contitioner as my hair really feels nourished and hydrated and soft! I love it. And it smells good too!
I highly recommend to use Dry Scalp Care 3ActionFormula Conditioner along with the Dry Scalp Care 3ActionFormula Shampoo!
I love the Almond Oil in the product as it really makes the difference to me. I normally have to use a scalp conditioner on my scalp only, then use a quality conditioner on my mid to ends of my hair (I have pretty long hair) So that means I have 2 bottles in the shower... Well thanks to Dry Scalp Care 3ActionFormula Conditioner I've now scraped that and just use Dry Scalp Care 3ActionFormula Conditioner as its look after both my hair and scalp. Ive been using it for 2 weeks now and have had no irritation or dryness and my hair feels nourished and soft and mostly looks healthy! I have that confidence to run my fingers through my hair! Which is great!!!

Head & Shoulders Dry scalp care 3Action formula has changed my life. I was excited when asked to trial this product along with the matching shampoo as I have for a long time had a dry and itchy scalp with very minimal dandruff.
The conditioner has a refreshing floral scent and great consistency. Only a small amount is needed per wash to leave you hair silky smooth. After the first wash I noticed my hair was shinier, smoother and more hydrated. It felt fresh and super nourished as well as smelling great.
I have coarse, dry blonde hair which i often find difficult to keep hydrated and moisture locked in but after using Head and shoulders a couple times I have noticed that it is no longer as dry as it once was. The almond oil within the conditoner is great at keeping my hair hydrated without giving it that nasty over compensating greasy look. I found that using both the shampoo and conditioner kept my hair looking and freeling fresher for longer plus no more frizz and no more itch. what could be better?

I have used this conditioner in conjunction with it's matching shampoo and think that they both work quite well with each other. The consistency is perfect, the smell to me is Almond with a touch of Vanilla which is a really luxe smell, I love it. The bottle size is very generous and I like the design of the bottle how it sits on its lid so the product continues to drain downwards making it easy to get all the product out. The product rinses out easily and leaves my hair smelling fresh and clean. I think it helps to relieve my itchy and flaked scalp, leaving it moisturized on the scalp, though it doesn't really moisturize my mid lengths and ends deeply. My hair is reasonably manageable after using this. I do like how the conditioner works up the top of my hair and towards my scalp especially around the hair line. I wished it would leave my mid lengths and ends a little more moisturized, but I think what works for my scalp will generally not be as suitable for my mid lengths and ends as they are in a different condition. However a treatment or heavier conditioner would help on the rest of my hair.

I used this product with the matching shampoo during the trial. I've used Head and Shoulders before (Smooth and Silky variant) with satisfying results and was excited to try this variant.

The packaging, like with the other variants, made me take off a star. Firstly, the base is smaller than the bottle, making it easy to tip over. Second, without my glasses on in the shower, I can't easily tell which is the shampoo and the conditioner.

The formula is thick, creamy and spreads easily along the hair. You don't need too much to coat your hair. The fragrance is overwhelming in the shower, but makes your hair smell fresh throughout the day and night.

My dry, damaged, brittle hair felt adequately conditioned with this product. Unfortunately, I noticed my face getting oily as well. It did not make me break out, fortunately. I also started feeling itchiness in the scalp, but did not get any flakes. Upon inspection of my scalp by hubby, he did not see any redness or flakes either.

I'll probably go back to the Smooth and Silky variant.

H&S conditioner is designed to work hand-in-hand with H&S shampoo to deliver better hair and scalp care. To get the best result, H&S conditioner needs to be applied both on the scalp and the entire length of the hair. It has to be applied on the scalp so that the anti-dandruff actives can get into the scalp where it’s needed the most. It has to be applied throughout the length of the hair so that hair conditioning actives can evenly nourish and condition the hair. Unlike cosmetic conditioners that are designed primarily for hair, H&S conditioners are designed to be applied on the scalp to deliver dandruff protection, without being heavy on the hair close to the scalp.

I have been trying the Dry Scalp Care 3Action Formula Conditioner with the Dry Scalp Care 3ActionFormula Shampoo.

The conditioner is quite rich but lathers up nicely on the hair. I followed the directions on the bottle (regarding massaging it onto the scalp as well as the lengths) but found that even after careful rinsing, the formula left the scalp/roots of my hair feeling quite heavy and flat, which resulted in my hair looking oiler than it usually does (and needing more washing).

I then decided to focus the conditioner on the lengths of my hair instead and found that it worked better for me. After using the shampoo, my hair was left feeling a bit too ‘squeaky clean’, with the formula perhaps a little too intense for the lengths of my hair which resulted in it feeling a little too stripped. The rich conditioner worked well to balance that out. After the application, a good rinsing and blow drying, my hair felt smooth and soft, not stripped at all.

While the conditioner may be a little rich on its own, it’s the perfect follow up from the shampoo in this range. After multiples uses, I have found the combo to work well in reducing the dryness and flakiness of my scalp!

I have been using this conditioner in conjunction with the Dry Scalp Care 3ActionFormula shampoo for just over a week now, and I have been pleasantly surprised with how soft it has left my hair. I have used other dry scalp products before and they have always left my hair feeling like straw, this on the other hand, made mine so fluffy and soft that it was almost unmanageable. I don't think that this is all the shampoo and conditioner's fault, I think that my hair type is mostly to blame here. So, while my scalp felt a lot less itchy, I think that my hair tends to benefit from a heavier conditioner that has the ability to weigh down my curls and tame frizz.

I have been using the Head & Shoulders Dry Scalp Care 3 Action Formula Conditioner with Almond Oil for 5 days now and I am actually amazed that this product actually works. I used to have very dry scalp due to bleaching. No matter what product I tried, nothing solved my problem. My scalp was that dry that it flaked and at times it felt like something was crawling on my scalp. Since I started using the Head & shoulders Shampoo & Conditioner , the itchiness on my scalp has vanished completely. My scalp is well hydrated and moisturised. My hair has gone lot softer, smoother, shinier, healthy and is very manageable. The Head & Shoulders Conditioner comes in a large 400 ml size white plastic bottle with a blue lid. It has a very lovely smell and is very easy to use. Use it after washing your hair with the Head & Shoulders Shampoo twice, massaging it well into the scalp and hair every time you need to wash your hair and experience healthy, moisturised scalp and beautiful , dandruff free hair.

I received this product along with the Shampoo in almond oil range and I am must say how consistent they are with their range of products. Its simple blue and white packaging where the blue lid sits on the bottom so you can tell the difference in the shower. There is an image of almond with an oil to indicate the range.

Like the shampoo, it is nicely scented but not too heavily scented. The product itself is thick but fluffy and when applied to the bottom of my scalp and ends I could feel an instant smoothness in the hair. It would be the almond oil at work making my hair feeling smooth and silky.

It is too early to tell whether this almond oil range has helped with my scalp but so far I give it the thumbs up. I have not had any irritations and my ends are looking great and healthy.
