im looking for a simple 3 step skincare which i can stick with and reasonably priced...
anyone has any suggestions?
(plz no proactive and clinique - i dont reali like them dat much )
It really depends on your type of skin. Everyone skin is different and can react differntly. But im sure if you state what skin type you have, i'm sure other gurls who have the same skin type will be able to assist you with what they use.
Not all good beauty care is expensive and to be honest its more about routine and care that keep your skin looking great (not to mention genetics!). I'm going to go really cheap for you, that way you can buy it without worry too much about giving it a go. I use the below products on a regular basis, they're my "base" skin care. I generally have some expensive stuff as well...just because I love the frivolity of it.
Simple eye makeup remover
Loreal Visible Results Cleansing Milk
T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel Toner
A'kin Unscented 24-Hour Pure Moisture
I've found Simple, A'kin and Loreal products in the pharmacy, the witch hazel is found in the supermarket - and for that matter so is Loreal.
No go out there and get it!
lol... at the moment i have oily skin....
Azn - Cetaphil do a great range of gentle products - and they have a range specifically for oily skin now - you can buy from chemists and pricelines. They are really cheap too. The Witch hazel toner miss krispy mentioned would also be a good product for you I think.
I second cetaphil, I really like their cleanser, but I haven't tried any of their other products. Another ok cheap range is Natio, to be honest I haven't found it to be particularly wonderful, but they haven't caused any problems like dryness or breakouts like I usually get with cheaper skin ranges.
QV is available from most pharmacies and their products are really gentle. They are also reasonably priced.
I agree also Cetaphil is very gentle and is perfect for those that don't want their skin damaged, i love that brand works good for me.
Generally cheaper does not mean worse. I recommend that you read Paula Begouin's (is that how it is spelt?) book on skin care where she individually reviews hundreds and hundreds and probably thousands of products in depth. She's a dermatologist and a woman, so she knows what the products are doing to your skin!
Plus larger companies such as Estee Lauder and L'Oreal can spend the big bucks on research whilst still providing good quality cheap products. Sometimes these obscure and expensive brands make you think that their products are special (e.g. natural ingredients, or exclusively sourced ingredients) but they simply don't have the money/resources to test all their products (ingredients tests, quality control, consumer opinions etc.).
I personally use only brands that can be bought at Coles or Priceline (e.g. Dove, Olay, L'Oreal) instead of more expensive brands (e.g. Clinique) or really expensive (e.g. La Prarie) because they are sold everywhere, are cheap, good quality and do the job!
Skin care doesn’t have to be expensive. You can use ingredients in your kitchen also to take care of your skin. Make sure you drink a lot of water, exercise for a while. Use natural ingredients such as curd, turmeric, honey, chickpea flour, honey, lime. All these have natural antioxidants and can do wonders for your skin.
You can follow this skincare routine https://beautiesforever.com/beauty-tips-for-glowing-skin/ . As we know most skin problems happens due to food habits and undisciplined life patterns. No matter how many serums, creams you apply it will not solve your problem for longer time. Also try to follow some home facial recipes with natural ingredients.
For many years I have had severe allergic reaction to normal hair colour that contains ammonia and peroxide.
I had good results both with niacinamide and vitamin C in the past, and I like using them both in my morning routine, but I'm not a fan of layering several products.
I loved this. I have dry hair but wow this changed it. It hydrated and moisturized my hair, it made it smell so nice and fresh. It gave my hair a shine.
