how can i whiten my teeth without the strips or gel packs?
Is seeing the dentist an option? You'll walk out looking white.
OR Try a good whitening toothpaste and mouth wash. Although, I think this is only helpful when you want to maintain your white teeth, not sure it will help your teeth improve from yellow.
I've tried the gel packs which work and the strips as well which work but more slowly.
mix a little bit of toothpaste, with the same amount of baking soda and brush your teeth. Do this twice a week. You don't want to do it everyday because baking soda is very strong, it can strip your enamel. you will definitely see results after a few uses. good luck
yeah I have started that about a week ago thanks to your recommendation and I already see a difference(my teeth were very yellow) thank you so much
ok, will try this, thanks for sharing.

i also want to try oral b whitening strips beacause also want to whiten my teeth, has anyone used it? does it really works? i read many good reviews on crest whitening strips but didn't see one selling like chemist or local supermarket
If you do a forum search there is a post I did about this, I think it's in the dental section. I put a lot of information on that post as I work in the industry.
I will definitely check that out ASAP
Yep the oral b strips do work. You can only buy the lower strength crest strips in Australia and Im pretty sure they are only available online.
Thanks very much Jess R
Try baking soda and toothpaste twice a day for 3 days and then once a day to mantain the whiteness. Don't forget to floss as well. Just take a pea size toothpaste and mix a pinch of basking soda and brush . you will start to see results just after first use. Good luck. Hope this helps.
Will start trying that today and post my results.
these are great suggestions, I will have to experiment with these
Me too xx
There is also a charcoal coconut formula called "Warpaint" that is really popular lately the results are suppose to be pretty fast and i've seen lots of good reviews. I'm going to try it sooner or later it is a little pricey though i think $45-50 from Showpo or from the Warpaint website. The tub is quite large though it would last ages, also contains no harsh chemicals etc and you just use it with a toothbrush.
I have heard a lot about 'coconut oil pulling' lately as well, you may want to research it online as i don't know too much about it but want to try it as well. Basically you 'swish' the coconut oil around in your mouth for about 20 minutes and it's suppose to whiten teeth and have heaps of other health benefits.
That Warpaint sounds expensive!
I've never heard of coconut oil pulling but am keen to try. 20 minutes is a long time but I'll give it a go. Great to have a natural treatment that will help. Thank you for the advice.
I use a small amount of coconut oil on my toothbrush and brush daily before brushing with toothpaste. I think it's made a difference. I can't spend 20 minutes a day oil pulling so I thought I'd try this instead.
This sounds a little strange, but I use Tumeric, yep the highly staining yellow powder, lol. I begin by holding 1/2 a shot glass of wheatgrass (I use the powder with water) in my mouth for a few minutes. It tastes delicious, not really, lol. I spit it out, then I put some coconut oil on a toothbrush (not my regular one, because it will stain!) and dip in tumeric powder. I brush my teeth as I normally would, but without spitting. I then leave in my mouth for 5 minutes. My teeth at this point look beautiful!! Lol. I rinse with the remaining wheatgrass, then water.
It works! Seriously!
Not only does it whiten teeth, but is good for the gums also, and it's antibacterial. The wheatgrass is not necessary, but I am using it because I have gingivitis. There's also claims that wheatgrass helps with toothache, plaque and even remineralise teeth over time.
I've only been doing this for a week, so will update if I notice any benefits, well apart from the tumeric whitening teeth.
Don't use tumeric everyday, 3 days a week is all that is needed :)
Ooh Indie! I have wheatgrass powder every morning! I skoll it really quickly because it tastes like it's good for me (Euuuugh!). Isn't that a waste to just be spitting it out? Although, I get how you wouldn't want to swallow it after swishing it around for a few minutes.
I put turmeric in my cooking, so I've always got that at home. I don't know if I want to put that on my teeth. Be our guineapig Indie, ha ha!
I drink a glass of wheatgrass water in the morning, also. I figure 1/4 of a tsp isn't too much to "waste". OMG, I almost gag when it hasn't been mixed properly, and I drink some of the goopy lumps.
I noticed my teeth were whiter after the very first use of turmeric, Mis8. I was surprised that it didn't taste too bad. You can brush with toothpaste as normal after rinsing. I don't because I no longer use toothpaste.
I've got a lot of plaque build-up behind a couple of my lower teeth, they're very crooked I guess that's why? Anyway, I swear that since rinsing with wheatgrass, although there's still some there, it's becoming less noticeable. I don't know why, but for a long time I've had a bad habit of running my tongue along the build-up. Ewww, that sounds bad, and probably TMI, but it explains how I'd notice, lol.
I quite like your 'strange suggestion" IndieAna but feel like giving it a go. Tumeric??? Hmmm, who would have thought! :)
Do try it, Simonja! Don't like the scary yellow put you off. Seriously works! :)
Does white glow work??
I was fortunate to receive this product as one of the goodies in the discovery bag so a huge thank you to BH.
Unfortunately, my skin just did not like this. I loved the scent and the feel of my face after using it, but as I said my face just oozed oil afterwards.
First of all, a huge thanks goes to BH for allowing me to try this out as it came as one of the products in the discovery bag.
