I was thinking about getting the gaps between my teeth filled and i was wondering if anyone here had done it, how much it might roughly cost and anything else i should know.
I use to be a dental nurse in the UK, I don't know how much it would cost here though. The actual procedure is pretty straightforward - it's just built up with the material they use for white fillings. Looks completely natural too. And it doesn't take long either, from memory one appointment?
Sounds good, its just price that im worried about :s
I don't think it would be too much, shouldn't be too much more than a normal filling - it isn't actually that involved. Just phone around for some rough estimates.
It also depends on the size of the gap. white filling works if it is a fairly small gap and its not recommended for one's front teeth. You could have something called bonding done by a cosmetic dentist. Porcelain veneer or crown could close your tooth gap, which is suit to you, your dentist can make a decision.Bonding material will be used.
However, if its a large gap and affects your bite you'll need braces.
I went the porcelain veneer which looks great... my sister (whose gap was bigger) went for braces. Now she's the one with the hollywood smile and most of the price was covered by private health insurance.
Mmm yeast infections and teeth - yummy
yeast infections WHAT THE HELL
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm that's gammy mouth.
isabella7w7, take your advertising else where, it's offensive that you think it's ok to just whack it in anywhere. and how is flooring relevant to yeast let alone teeth?
Maybe she got her yeast infection off the floor?...
how gem? sliding along like a dog with and itchy one.
I'm still confused - yeah come to a beauty website and talk about DIY....maybe she thought she was in Bunnings heaven or something?
I had some gaps in my front teeth and got them corrected the old fashioned way many many years ago with braces. I wore them for roughly 3 years from memory and it cost around $2,500. I'm sure it's really different now though so I'm probably not much help!
I also had a really pointy tooth that was built up with the same material they use for fillings. If you saw my tooth it looks like that's the way my tooth should look. That's so much cheaper than caps or porcelain veneers.
The cheapest option short term would probably be composite veneers not sure of the exact cost though, it is the same material that is used for a white filling. They look very natural too. The only downfall is not everything is guaranteed to last forever and they can chip etc, also after a while the filling materiel used can stain! Probably best to discuss all of your options and costs associated with your usual dentist for exact quotes! hope it helps!
For many years I have had severe allergic reaction to normal hair colour that contains ammonia and peroxide.
I had good results both with niacinamide and vitamin C in the past, and I like using them both in my morning routine, but I'm not a fan of layering several products.
I loved this. I have dry hair but wow this changed it. It hydrated and moisturized my hair, it made it smell so nice and fresh. It gave my hair a shine.
