A few years ago a lady I knew started up this IT works!! Wrap selling things. She asked me to try it but I couldn't justify the price. I have seen her results and she has lost a great deal of weight. She said it's only from using the wraps but I'm not convinced as she may have just been trying to sell to me.
It has recently come back on my radar as a good friend has started selling it. It must be working for people because surely it would have fizzled out by now right?? Actually there are quite a few people selling it now that I have noticed coming up on my FB wall. My friend gave me a box of wraps and defining body gel to try so I'll let you know if I have any luck when I get around to using them. However has anyone tried them?
It claims to be "natural' which I did some research on and it seems most products are plant based. It does contain quite alot of alcohol and some chemical compounds, which are not limited to only this beauty product. It also contains Urea which is a bit different?? Which I think in this case I'd prefer for it to be a synthetic form. I understand the benefit of it containing urea but it was not an ingredient I expected to find :) 4th on the list is Alcohol Denat which must be in a high volume to be listed so close to the top of the list, which does concern me a little and it also contains BHT which I'm not overly sure about, however I do know this is also a food additive so very likely that I am already consuming it. I do notice it says to use the wraps only every 72 hours but the cream 2 times a day. This BHT is listed last on the ingredient list, so must only be a small amount compared to other things listed but I do wonder how much will be absorbed.
I have looked it up online and there are quite a lot of negative reviews, all listing the "danger" of putting such chemicals into your body. Now I am not a health nut by far but as I'm getting older I am trying to be much more aware of what I am putting onto my skin.
So of course I turn to the advice on here. I can post an ingredient list if you like but I thought I wouldn't just because there are quite a few, and things I have never heard of that will take me quite some time to type in :)
SO anyone know anything more about these, do you know anyone who has used them, or have you used them yourself, what are the results like and are they worth it.
