Scrub with wet sand

Spectacularly free beach sand is the kind of body-exfoliating wonder you pay serious cash for at a spa. If you can bare the occasional stare, we recommend sitting in the shallows and rubbing handfuls of wet sand everywhere but your face. It's especially fabulous for softening tough heels and soles. Do you seriously need more convincing to checkout of work early today? Landlocked? Close your eyes and think of Tahiti with an Organic Body Polish from Venustus instead.

Sand is actually a great, natural exfoliator

I did this all summer and can't wait for the water to warm up enough to scrub away my winter dryness

I've never really tried it. A warm beach sounds like my idea of heaven right now!

I've never tried it, but it sounds like a great (and cheap!) tip.

Sand is your friend! I always have such soft tanned legs after ex foliation at the beach. If you feel hesitant, take a friend and then you'll look less strange :P

I go to my local beach about once a week and I never think about doing this... I just keep my runners on and go for a walk along the shoreline. I never liked getting into the water as the saltwater always make my legs itch.

I always do this when i'm sitting on the beach, when i'm finished i'm covered in sand :) It makes my skin feel beautiful and fresh. The salt water helps a lot too.

This is a free and easy idea. Another thing that I have tried and it really does work is the Milky Feet socks. Works wonders, but does take a few days to come into effect.
