Six of the best: face protectors

As the temperature beings to creep up, we become a little more drawn to the sun in an attempt to soak up some much-needed vitamin D. (Thank you for sticking around way too long winter!)
Although there’s nothing wrong with enjoying all that summer offers, it’s imperative to do so smartly, which means protecting yourself against one of the biggest premature agers there ever was… the sun. Check out six of the best face sunscreens, so you don’t end up red faced (and soon to be wrinkled) this sunny season…
SUNSENSE Daily Face SPF 50+
“WOW I've been trialing the SUNSENSE daily face SPF 30+ from bh for a few weeks now and I'm really impressed. It comes in a nice sleek tube that is attractive and delivers what it promises. It has no fragrance as far as I can detect and I really like that. It says to use one teaspoon all over the face and neck, although I have to say a teaspoon is a little too much for me so I use less. It goes on easily and sinks into to my skin very quickly and does leave a matte finish as it says. I think Daily Face 30+ is an essential for all beauties especially living in the heat of Australia, it is extremely cheap too and you can rest assure you’re doing something good for your face as well as hydrating it. Overall this is an excellent product and I will definitely continue using it and will buy it when it runs out again. I recommend SUNSENSE daily face completely.” Rating: 5/5 – MishMoshy

I cleanse, then under eye serum, facial serum, eyebrow primer (to assist with growth) and then moisterise always with an SPF factor in it.

I cleanse, tone, then put on Olay SPF30+ as it's very lightweight and so far has worked the best of all sunscreens on my skin. If I'm trying to look especially nice I use Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser with SPF 20, so I don't even bother with foundation...

I love natural skincare and cleanse with either Kosmea Clarifying Facial Wash or Trilogy Cream Cleanser (depending on the season) then apply Rosehip Oil and a light SPF Moisturiser - Trilogy Daily Defence Moisturiser or Kosmea 30+ are fab!

Cleanse, tone and moisturise and almost daily exfoliate with different products - some glycolic, some with the 'grains' and some with both. I also twice-daily use an eye product.

I have used this in the past and found it quite good. It wasnt oily which was nice. As I dont like oily sunscreen over my face!
I always cleanse and moisturise in the morning. Sometimes I will use a toner.

Every morning I cleanse, tone, use jojoba oil, moisturise with the Olay SPF30+ that is featured in this article and apply eye cream. I am religious about this and one day without toning and my skin goes crazy!

My daily routine is to cleanse, tone, apply eye cream, sunblock (Nivea's light veil at present) and moisturise. If I am not going to wear foundation I will use Laura Mercier's tinted moisturiser with 20 protection. It may be overdoing the sun protection but I think more is better. Oh, and I make sure my neck and decolletage is part of the morning routine.
