Simple fake tanning tutorial
If the thought of applying a fake tan with the word ‘dark’ on it has you conjuring up images of a Jersey Shore-esque self-tan gone bad, you’re not alone. As someone with pale skin, you certainly wouldn’t get me anywhere near the product – until now, that is.
Believe it or not, there’s a new fake tan on the market with a darker formulation that actually looks awesome on all skin tones. I kid you not. We tried it out on bh’s Annalise (who has gorgeous pale skin) and there was not one indication of fakeness about it, not one hint of Snooki-fied skin, only a gorgeous, natural-looking glow.
The product we’re putting on this self-tanning pedestal goes by the name of St Tropez Self Tan Dark Mousse and it’s formulated with special technology that mimics the skin's natural melanin, helping to produce a beautiful tan that is tailored to your individual skin tone.
Watch our video above to check out the results for yourself – you’ll also pick up some great fake tanning tips from St Tropez Global Ambassador, Nichola Joss while you’re at it too!
Here's a shot of Annalise before her tan, while her tan was developing, and the next morning after she'd showered. She's gone from pale to perfectly golden!
What skin tone do you have? Have you ever tried to use a fake tan with a dark formulation? Would you consider using the St Tropez Dark Mousse now that you know it works on even the palest of skin tones?
