What is your sex language?
You’ve probably heard about the languages of love, but what about the languages of sex?
According to sex-psychologist Douglas Weiss, the success of a relationship (and the success of a trip to O-town) can only be bettered by familiarising ourselves with our own, and our partners differing sex languages.
According to Dr. Weiss, “When two people keep giving love in their own sex language [without proper interpretation from their partner], it can lead to frustration and a lack of fulfilment that can continue for years.”
So which sex language are you? Have a read of the five most common below to discover which one you relate with most. You may even be a mix of one or two...
Then, share it with your partner and watch the sparks fly.
Sex language 1: FUN
If you love having spontaneous sex in locations outside of the bedroom, then fun sex is your language. You are in your element when you are getting creative with your lover. Think late nights in the office, day trips to a secret beach... dare we go on?
Sex language 2: DESIRE
This is the sex language of those who like to be chased. Your sexual experience will be at its peak when you feel like you’ve been pursued. You love it when your partner plans their sexual time with you, and you know they are really wanting you.
Sex language 3: PLEASURE
This language is for those who love to please their partner. If you are always curious to know what positions or acts are your partners favourite, then this is your sex language. Exploring and being explored will take sex to the next level for you.
Sex language 4: PATIENCE
If you like sex to be gentle and slow, both before, during and after, then this is you. You like for your sexual experience to take an extended period of time. Take advantage of a sleepy Sunday and let it take all morning.
Sex language 5: ACCEPTANCE/CELEBRATION
You want every part of you to be appreciated during every phase of sex (who doesn’t?!). If your sex lanuguage is acceptance/celebration, you will feel far more satisfied during sex if you know you are valued by your partner. Not just your body or sexually, but that every facet of you is accepted.
