Everything you need to know about Invisalign treatment

Have you ever wanted to get a better smile, but you’ve been put off by getting braces that you can see? Well then Invisalign treatment might be just what you’ve been looking for.
Invisalign Treatment offers teeth straightening without all the metal and wires, thanks to a series of virtually invisible and removable aligners. Here we’ll show you everything you need to know about Invisalign treatment, including how to get started and what the process actually looks like.
Have you thought about trying Invisalign treatment?
Invisalign® treatment is a series of clear plastic removable orthodontic aligners that gently move patients’ teeth. An orthodontist or Invisalign trained dentist will be able to advise whether Invisalign treatment is right for you. You should always read and follow their directions for use. In rare cases, allergies may occur.

My youngest daughter is now having a course of this done. Unfortunately the dentist had to delay progress on it though due to the c virus. She's been on the one tray for the last five weeks and it was only meant to be a 22 week course! Hopefully there'll be no more hold ups.

Does this treatment change the shape of your mouth, will the roof of your mouth change?

It moves the teeth which I suppose in efffect can then cause the shape of the mouth to change but it would only be ever so slightly. My daughter's have all done invisilign with success and now my youngest is on it. I would do another course of it for myself too as I had it done when it first came into the country over a decade ago and it has improved a lot since then.

I have heard so much about invisalign lately! Probably the nicest way to fix your teeth.

I’ve heard that these are amazing and really do work. I had braces when I was younger, and ouch yes they did hurt. I dint know anyone who has used Invisalign, but I’m thinking they wouldn’t be as painful an uncomfortable as braces.

I feel uncomfortable just looking at the model in the photo. I have a very strong gag reflex so I wouldn't be able to tolerate Invisalign.

This is wonderful for younger people but I am 71 AND MY SMILE IS OK SO I will not have to have this done.

I would have loved to have this done when I was younger as I have an over-bight but as I am almost 70 I will give this a miss , I have managed to get along fine for all these years and without missing out, good luck to anyone who has it done.

Unfortunately, I'm not a candidate for Invisalign. My orthodontist said I need jaw surgery despite having braces as a teenager. My teeth and jaw are my worst feature by far!

While having braces as a teen corrected my massive overbite my teeth have unfortunately shifted following my wisdom teeth coming down. Rather than return to traditional braces, I am now using invisalign to correct my teeth. I am approximately 11 months in to an 18 month treatment. So far, so good. My bottom teeth are now perfect and my top teeth are getting close. It is also far less expensive than initially expected and they are close to invisible - very few people have noticed them. Loving the treatment and results so far!
