Hello Happy Skin Body Scrub is a vegan body scrub that leaves skin silky smooth and reinvigorated. It stimulates blood circulation to fight tired, dull and clogged skin, while stimulating the skin’s moisture retention to keep it supple for longer. It also fights bacteria and skin infections such as acne, blemishes, psoriasis, eczema, cellulite, stretch marks and scarring. With powerful mung bean powder and virgin coconut oil, combined with matcha, this robust scrub is packed with rich phytoestrogen enzymes that stimulate the body’s natural collagen and elastin production, brightening skin complexion and hydrating skin (unlike other scrubs that leave skin feeling dry or irritated). Spicy scrub

Hello Happy Skin Body Scrub is a great exfoliator scrub for using in the shower. It comes packaged in a bag that has a resealable closure. I left this bad outside of the shower so it would not get wet.

To see you mix the scrub with hot water to make a paste, then use with exfoliator gloves to work into your skin. The scrub definitely exfoliates and freshens up my skin. After washing the scrub off my skin was so smooth and soft!

I also had few lazy moments where I would just grab a bit of the scrub and make a paste in my hand while in the shower and it still worked fairly well.
I don’t why but I felt like the scent was sort of turmeric-y with hints of peppermint oil if that makes sense. So a bit of a spicy scent.

Also big ticks that it’s a vegan product!

Great scrub, effective and moisterising

The Hello Happy Skin scrub effectively exfoliates and moisturises the body in one step. Boiling hot water needs to be added to the scrub to make a paste, which can then be worked into the skin or added to the bath. The paste feels like a typical scrub in an oil based emultion.

The only reason I am giving four instead of five stars is because of the scent. To me, it was quiet disagreeable, however other members of the household found the scent to be pleasant. Taste and sensitivity to scents is obviously a very personal thing.

The ingredients and packaging are both really impressive, with the top ingredient being rice bran powder and the package being fully recyclble. Overall, my whole family enjoyed this scrub and we will continue to use it (especially if it ever comes out in another scent.

Any Tips?:

Only add a small amount of water at a time.

Ideal For...:

A really good body scrub.
A little bit of luxury.

Original and natural

This company is so amazing. I love that reading the label you instantly know what all the ingredients are, I feel this is so rare to find. My favourite way to use this product was adding it to my baths. I also really enjoy that the scrub works without being too harsh on your skin. Plus, the packaging is the cutest and so simple.

The one problem for me around this product was that the scent of it was too strong. I don’t like strong smells and this product just had too many scents mingled together. If you like citrus scents this product is definitely for you. I also found that after I used the scrub my skin felt quite oily. While I have many friends who prefer this finish in their body scrubs. I prefer my products to have a more drying finish as I add my moisture after and don’t like feeling I have heaps of product on my skin before I go to sleep.

Leaves skin feeling so nourished.

I received this body scrub as part of the Discovery Bag for June. I love the fact that it is in recyclable packaging and has the zip lock to close it up, and it is totally vegan.
I followed the instructions and mixed a scoop of Hello Happy Skin body scrub with some hot water to make a paste. I then put it on to my exfoliation gloves to work into my skin.
I am not a great fan of the scent as it reminds me of protein powder for some reason. However, after using this over my whole body, my skin is left completely nourished and moisturised. I would usually get out of the shower and use a moisturiser, but absolutely didnt require it. I am very happy to continue purchasing this as it is really lovely.

Any Tips?:

Best mixed with hot water and made in to a paste.

Ideal For...:

This is great for any type of skin requiring a moisture hit.

Happy Skin Indeed!!

I am a bit of an exfoliator product junkie - both body and face, so I was very excited to try a new one.
The smell of this product is lovely - it smells edible , it's so natural. With ingredients like mung bean powder, coconut oil and matcha it's nothing short of food for your skin!
I thought it might be messy to use in the shower however that wasn't the case. As it has a moist texture it stays clumped together in your hand and doesn't fly everywhere - really easy to use. I used a handful for my whole body and could really feel it exfoliating.
I have very sensitive skin and often scrub products irritate it a lot. This one didn't irritate at all and the most amazing thing about it was that after I washed it off it felt like i had exfoliated and used a body oil. My skin felt smooth and soooo soft.
My skin looked better than it has in ages and I didn't even have to moisturise after using this. It's two products in one! I love it and will continue using.
Also, the packaging is great - recyclable and perfect for travel as it's a resealable bag.

Any Tips?:

Easy to use in the shower - just grab a handful! Don't use soap afterwards as this will wash off the oil which hydrates your skin after using.

Sensitive skin!

Lovely body scrub

When I opened the bag , the smell reminded me of a spice shop : so many beautiful , natural scents , just delicious.
I live this body scrub , it does a great job removing the dry skin cells , it makes the skin so soft without drying it and it leaves a nice , fresh herbal scent. I used it mainly on my legs and feet , it is a really good product , packed with natural ingredients.

Love!!!!

I had never done a full body scrub before, so I was really excited to try this one!!! I really loved the packaging on this one… It is able to be recycled… It is also resealable, so it stores the scrub really well and keeps it fresh…

I really loved the ingredients list… It honestly sounded like something I would just eat!!! (There may have been a few exceptions, but it sounded amazing!!!) The smell was so amazing and just simply Divine!!! I really loved the texture of this scrub too… It had a very mild grainy texture to it… I could see the scrub taking dead crapola off my skin, but it wasn’t overly abrasive or irritating to my skin… I followed the instructions on the back of the pack and took a 10-minute soak in the bath… (Not something I generally do, but was so glad I did!!!) I loved the feel of my skin after using it, SO SOFT!!! Like the softest it had been in a really long time!!!

I was and am so happy with the results of this and couldn’t recommend it higher!!! Ana amazing product, everyone should try!!!

Luxurious and natural body scrub

I really enjoyed using the Hello Happy Skin Body Scrub. It left my skin feeling silky smooth and very moisturised and even though it was a little more work to use than other body scrubs I enjoyed every bit of it.
I first mixed a handful with a little boiling water to make a smooth paste, I then scrubbed my whole body with it and rinsed it off in the shower. It felt very luxurious to use and left my skin feeling very invigorated and clean and has a nice natural scent with a slight scent of the peppermint oil coming through.
This scrub has so many great benefits including the treatment of eczema and acne which is great for my teenage daughters and I love all the wonderful and natural ingredients in this scrub. I will definitely purchase this product time and time again for the whole family.

The whole family can use this natural scrub

Beautiful Natural Ingredients

I loved the natural ingredients in this. It does leave my skin feeling smooth and exfoliated, invigorated and also very hydrated. I loved the reasons for the individual ingredients in this formula - a lot of thought has gone into each added ingredient. So I loved the 'science' behind each ingredient being in this product. Each ingredient has purpose. I didn't find a need to add moisturiser after this product as it left my skin so moisturised all by itself.

There is quite a write up on the back of the pack so you can read all about it. I did wish the writing wasn't in 'white' though because it made it harder to read as it's white writing on a light brown background. Black writing would have been better.

The scent is light and natural - quite fresh & citrusy and I like it a lot. This scent came from the natural, functional ingredients so that is cool! The scent was nice to breathe in as I used it and it didn't linger on my skin after use either.

This product was a surprise to use in the way that a scoop of it should be mixed first with some boiling hot water. So it's not as simple as just taking it into the bathroom and rubbing it around the skin. From the instructions, this needs to be done because it activates the ingredients to work and you need to kind of get that done first before you step into the bathroom.

There was quite a bit of fine sandy seedy stuff left for me to rinse away from the bathroom after use. It tends to fall away from your skin as it's rubbed around and it makes a bit of a mess, even after made into the paste as per the instructions.

This pack is 200g and I used about 50g to make up enough scrub paste for all over my body. So this pack for be great for about 4 uses.

Any Tips?:

Take the pack into the kitchen first to mix some up into a paste with some boiling water. Then you are ready to take it with you into the bathroom.

Ideal for those who love a very natural scrub with loads of beautiful natural ingredients.
