The affordable body lotion Meghan Markle uses religiously

Sometimes celebrity skin care tips and beauty recommendations can be hard to implement without the celeb budget. But actress Meghan Markle has blessed us with a body lotion suggestion we can actually afford.
Her go-to? The NIVEA Q10 Plus Firming Body Lotion which you can get for under $10.
“I use this religiously,” she told Beauty Banter. “It’s honestly my favorite lotion on the market, it’s so affordable, and makes my skin look and feel amazing. I would buy a case of this at a time if I could find it.”

If the recommendation from Meghan Markle and the low price tag aren’t enough incentive to try this lotion out, perhaps our members’ opinions will sway you. With a four-star rating from over 100 reviews, it’s safe to say our members also swear by this moisturiser.
“This cream is by far the best moisturiser I've ever used!” bh member dedobb wrote. “My legs were dry, flaky and hurting me so much because I used to dry shave. I purchased this to rekindle and replenish my skin and guess what... it worked in less than a week!”
Meghan’s other couldn’t-live-without products include the Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment, NARS Blush in Orgasm and her Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler. The actress also considers drinking lots of water and adding shimmer to the inner corner of her eye, two of the best beauty secrets she’s ever picked up.
If you’re in need of some new body lotion, bh also loves: Natio Wellness Body Lotion, Burt's Bees Radiance Body Lotion and DermaVeen Extra Gentle Revive Body Moisturiser.

the scent sometimes puts me off with Nivea, that strong floral type scent can give me a headache if it's all over my body - will have to give it the sniff test next time I'm out at the shops

Oh I hate that, duality! Yes, absolutely give it a sniff. Hopefully it's changed a little. x

Since realising that all, literally all more affordable (supermarket/pharmacy) body care moisturizers contain petroleum derived stuff in them, I do not even look at them any more. Which is a shame. I am sure it is not necessary to put those things in skincare products any more.
Nivea has more nostalgic note to me however. Those tinned blue creams aeons ago my mom used for her hands, oh and the smell I loved too

Nivea has some excellent products. I've used the Firming Body Lotion and found it to be really hydrating.

Nivea is marketed well but doesn't deliver in my experience. I avoid the brand.

My first ever cream was by Nivea. My mum bought home the dark blue tub for me when I was a teen. I remember adoring it for years.

Aw! I feel like so many people start out using Nivea products in their teens. I did too!

I'm not overly fond of Nivea, but I've read that Kate Middleton is too. I wonder if that's true though or if they just say that to sound relatable to us peasants.
