The affordable body lotion Meghan Markle uses religiously

Sometimes celebrity skin care tips and beauty recommendations can be hard to implement without the celeb budget. But actress Meghan Markle has blessed us with a body lotion suggestion we can actually afford.
Her go-to? The NIVEA Q10 Plus Firming Body Lotion which you can get for under $10.
“I use this religiously,” she told Beauty Banter. “It’s honestly my favorite lotion on the market, it’s so affordable, and makes my skin look and feel amazing. I would buy a case of this at a time if I could find it.”

If the recommendation from Meghan Markle and the low price tag aren’t enough incentive to try this lotion out, perhaps our members’ opinions will sway you. With a four-star rating from over 100 reviews, it’s safe to say our members also swear by this moisturiser.
“This cream is by far the best moisturiser I've ever used!” bh member dedobb wrote. “My legs were dry, flaky and hurting me so much because I used to dry shave. I purchased this to rekindle and replenish my skin and guess what... it worked in less than a week!”
Meghan’s other couldn’t-live-without products include the Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment, NARS Blush in Orgasm and her Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler. The actress also considers drinking lots of water and adding shimmer to the inner corner of her eye, two of the best beauty secrets she’s ever picked up.
If you’re in need of some new body lotion, bh also loves: Natio Wellness Body Lotion, Burt's Bees Radiance Body Lotion and DermaVeen Extra Gentle Revive Body Moisturiser.

I can't stand the old fashioned overpowering scent

I think everyone has tried , used or started with this lotion some time in life. Personally I love the smell. But I do find these products end up drying my skin out long term. Ingredients and what's in a product are just as important. This doesn't have much to help skin long term but if it works for her. Great.
Hopefully she doesn't dry shave anymore !!
She could afford IPL now lol

I probably used Nivea products when I was much younger before I switched to natural-based products without synthetic ingredients. Lately, I'm using less body lotions because some take a while to absorb; whereas I don't have any problems with oils absorbing. I love to make my own aromatherapy body oil blends.

I love it that she loves such an affordable product!!! Not the biggest fan of Nivea products myself, but I have recently tried a cream cleanser from them which is changing my opinion.

Probably has too much fragrance and ingredients that I prefer not to use.

I think most people have tried this lotion at some point. It works well and I like the scent but I prefer more natural ingredients.

I also remember my mum using the old blue tin. I rather like the classic Nivea scent, but there are better products.

The Nivea fragrance gives me migraines, but I’m loving the Aveeno moisturiser

I second the Aveeno - they have a good range of moisturisers.

I remeber a couple of years back, Nivea had a body gel called my sillouette but has since been discontinued. I really loved that one it was cheap, fast absorbing, firming and smelt absolutely gorgeous. I really get frustrated when great products get discontiued

I have used this product, stopped for a while and have started using it again. I was recently told that I have "lovely skin" and if you ignore the age spots on my arms, the rest of it is relatively firm for my age. But i don't think the firmness is due to using this product alone as I have used other Nivea Body Lotions as well as an Avon one (Royal Jelly Body Lotion) which I particularly like.
I think the fact that I use a body lotion twice a day (morning and night) helps to keep the skin firm by the action of massaging/rubbing the lotion into the skin.
However, I agree that Nivea's Q10 Firming Body Lotion is nice to use because I like its consistency, fragrance and that it keeps my skin moisturised so I agree with Meghan.

Yep, I'd say moisturising morning and night, plus the combination of products definitely would have made a difference! I'm keen to try the Avon one, now. x
